Creating Mark-Up Documents

While reviewing documents, you may want to add your own notes and redactions. To protect the integrity of the original document, Westlaw® Case Logistix®displays a PDF of your document in the Mark-up tab where you can perform these functions. Your library administrator may have created mark-up documents when your data was added to the library. However, if you need to create a mark-up file for an individual document, complete these steps:


  1. Select your document in the Document List.
  2. Click the Native/Image tab or the HTML tab in the Document Viewer.
  3. Click the Build Mark-up Document (blue lightning bolt) icon, shown outlined below.
