Ronald  Ahrens

Ronald Ahrens is an officer with the Reno Police Department in Nevada. He has worked with the agency for approximately fourteen years, having recently retired this year. During his time with the department, he trained in a variety of disciplines, including homeland security training conducted by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. He holds an associate of arts degree (with distinction) from the University of Maine. He worked as a DUI enforcement officer for approximately three and a half years, leading his agency in the number of DUI arrests in 2009.
