Honorable John  McClellan Marshall

Senior judge, formerly of the Fourteenth Judicial District Court in Dallas. He served on that court from 1981-2000. Prior to that, he served as a municipal court judge for four and one-half years. Since leaving the bench, he served as a mediator. He received his undergraduate degree from Virginia Military Institute, where he was valedictorian of his class, and a Master of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University. After serving in teaching positions at Memphis State University and Virginia Military Institute, he became a historian on the Apollo Program and a technical instructor on the Skylab Program at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Mexican Academy of International Law. He is a Sustaining Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, a member of the college of the State Bar, and a Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Astronautics. Judge Marshall is an internationally published and award winning author who also serves as a visiting professor of Law at universities in Poland and Latvia as well as lecturing frequently in the United States.
