This book examines the interrelationship between Internet domain names and trademark. Beginning with a review of the Canadian law of trademark in the context of domain name disputes, the author considers this law on the Internet, substantive issues involved in enforcement of trademark, jurisdictional and procedural issues, and the remedies available. This title also contains extensive discussion of international legislative developments, particularly for those topics where there is little or no Canadian jurisprudence. The following are reviewed: the United States' Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act, the Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy, CIRA Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy, and CIRA Domain Name Dispute Resolution Rules.
