Barry Arbuckle
Dr. Barry Arbuckle is president and chief executive officer of MemorialCare Health System, a leading Southern California not-for-profit integrated health care delivery system with over $1.7 billion in annual revenues and more than $2 billion in assets. Its hospitals include Long Beach Memorial, Miller Childrens Hospital Long Beach, Community Hospital Long Beach, Orange Coast Memorial in Fountain Valley, and Saddleback Memorial Laguna Hills and San Clemente. MemorialCare also includes leading medical groups, active graduate medical education, clinical training, research programs, outpatient surgery and imaging centers, retail clinics and philanthropic foundations with over $200 million in assets. Under Dr. Arbuckles leadership, MemorialCare has experienced unprecedented growth and financial performance. Dr. Arbuckle is also Chairman of the MemorialCare Innovation Fund, a for-profit division of MemorialCare targeting private equity investments in health care start-up companies. He serves on many boards of directors, including: chair of March of Dimes-California, officer of Integrated Healthcare Association, member of the Healthcare Leadership Council in Washington, D.C., and past chair of the California Hospital Association.
