Manual for Complex Litigation sets forth the basic principles that characterize the developing procedures used to resolve enormously complex litigation. Produced under the auspices of the Federal Judicial Center, this text is intended primarily for use in federal courts. However, the principles of management and many of the techniques it describes may be useful in criminal cases, in state courts, and in routine federal civil litigation. It describes the resolution of complex litigation without the loss of protections afforded by the adversarial system of justice. Chapter topics include:
