David A. Gauntlett

David A. Gauntlett is the principal of Gauntlett & Associates in Irvine, California, and represents policyholders in insurance coverage disputes regarding intellectual property, antitrust, and business tort claims, as well as in the underlying actions. He also serves as a consultant on structuring insurance programs to maximize insurance coverage for intellectual property risks, and as counsel for either defendants or plaintiffs where coverage issues impact the availability of settlement proceeds to resolve underlying intellectual property litigation.

Mr. Gauntlett received his BA magna cum laude from the University of California, Irvine 1976 and his JD from the University of California, Berkeley 1979 where he served as an editor of the California Law Review. He holds leadership positions in various ABA committees. (Bio entered 1/30/15)
